Holy Saturday April 19, 2025

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

Psalm 46:10

Today’s Word

Saturday was silent, the tomb closed, and hearts were grieving. But even when heaven feels quiet, God is never absent. Holy Saturday reminds us of the in-between—the space between heartbreak and hope, between loss and life.

Waiting is part of the story. God often does His deepest work in the dark. When nothing seems to be happening, faith whispers: He’s still in control. Today, hold on. Trust the silence. Resurrection is on the horizon.

Prayer

Lord, help me to be still even when I don’t understand. In the quiet and in the waiting, remind me that You are near and Your promises are true. Amen.
